• Plans, develops, and implements purchasing policies and procedures to achieve best value, on-time delivery, superior quality and appropriate controls to be compliant with General Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Directs the processing of approved purchase requisitions.
• Directs the execution of the Master Production Schedule.
• Directs the execution of Material Planning.
• Directs the execution of all Inventory Control Activities including cycle counting, proper material receipts, production orders, inventory locations, inventory variances, etc.
• Manage Supplier Relationships.
• Lead negotiations, contracting and ongoing supplier strategies.
• Lead the utilization of Syteline ERP system, taking advantage of full system capabilities.
• Directs the scheduling process of all production lines.
• Provide resolution of supply issues before they reach factory master planning stage.
• Produce capacity plan on a monthly basis.

Education/ Experience:

• Minimum 4 year college degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience in materials management, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
• Supervisory/management experience.
