Cloud Packaging Solutions, a growth-oriented packager and machine builder has an immediate need for a Supply Chain Manager to join our Des Plaines, IL Packaging Division.
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the overall management of the procurement, warehouse, inventory, materials, scheduling, planning and ERP processes at Cloud Packaging Services. The Supply Chain Manager plans, controls, and directs the operations of the purchasing functions, the procurement process, material delivery, material usage, inventory accuracy, material planning, production scheduling, and the effective use of the Syteline ERP System.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans, develops, and implements purchasing policies and procedures to achieve best value, on-time delivery, superior quality and appropriate controls to be compliant with General Accepted Accounting Principles.
Directs the processing of approved purchase requisitions.
Directs the execution of the Master Production Schedule.
Directs the execution of Material Planning.
Directs the execution of all Inventory Control Activities including cycle counting, proper material receipts, production orders, inventory locations, inventory variances, etc.
Manage Supplier Relationships.
Lead negotiations, contracting and ongoing supplier strategies.
Lead the utilization of Syteline ERP system, taking advantage of full system capabilities.
Directs the scheduling process of all production lines.
Provide resolution of supply issues before they reach factory master planning stage.
Produce capacity plan on a monthly basis.
Education/ Experience:
Minimum 4 year college degree.
Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience in materials management, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
Supervisory/management experience.
